
QUIRINO, ILOCOS SUR — The peace and order capabilities of the Municipality of Quirino received a significant boost today following the official turnover of a brand-new patrol vehicle to the Quirino Municipal Police Station, Ilocos Sur Provincial Police Office (ISUR PPO).
This vital addition to the local police force is designed to modernize the station’s mobility, directly impacting the safety and security of the community. With the deployment of this new asset, the municipal police can expect to enhance proactive visibility across the various barangays, drastically improve emergency response times, and ensure a more robust protective presence for all residents.
The acquisition of the patrol car was made possible through the dedicated initiative and persistent request of the Local Government Unit of Quirino, under the leadership of Mayor Atty. Jemarose Gomintong. Recognizing the growing needs of the local police force, the LGU worked in close coordination with MLGOO Neil Jasper N. Rebuldela to secure the resources necessary for this security upgrade.
Mayor Gomintong emphasized that the safety of the public remains a cornerstone of the administration’s development agenda. By providing the police force with reliable transportation and modern equipment, the LGU aims to foster a more secure environment conducive to progress and peace.
