The Municipality of Quirino has officially launched the Administrative Petition for Correction Automated System (APCAS), marking a major milestone in local digital governance.

Conducted on June 29, 2026, the successful rollout introduces a digitized framework designed to modernize the processing of local civil registration services. Developed to assist the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO), APCAS automates administrative petitions for correcting clerical errors, fixing typographical mistakes, and processing official changes of first names.

By transitioning away from manual processing, the automated system significantly cuts down on processing times, minimizes clerical errors, and enhances overall data accuracy. This digital shift ensures that residents receive more efficient, reliable, and timely public service when correcting vital statistics and legal documents.

The local government advises residents with ongoing civil registry queries or pending corrections to visit the Municipal Local Civil Registry Office, located at the main Municipal Building, during standard office hours.
