The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples facilitated a meeting on the harmonization of local guidelines for the selection of the Municipal IPMR. The guidelines have already been finalized, marking an important step toward a fair and organized selection process.

All barangays were well represented, with more than 200 attendees present during the discussion. The selection of the Municipal IPMR is set on May 5, 2026. Everyone is encouraged to stay informed and take part in this important activity for our IP community.
